BUILDING CODE REVIEW

compliance without compromise.

accessibility • safety • compliance

Helping clients meet the requirements of building, accessibility and other life safety codes is a critical aspect of an architect’s services, and an area of expertise for this firm.  Current law requires a registered design professional (architect, interior architect, engineer) to conduct a code review as a condition of receiving an occupancy permit, even when minor or no changes to a building are envisioned.  Code review is also required when a building’s use changes – from warehouse to factory, or from retail store to coffee shop, from home to professional offices – so that an architect can certify that life safety requirements for the new use are met.
